Video Experiments

Similar to other teachers, there is never enough time to complete all the labs and class activities I would like to do. So I decided to do the labs myself and video tape them. During the summer I videotaped two small labs. One comes from the NSTA “Project Earth Science: Geology” activity book and the other was a simple visual representation of water properties. During the year I used these labs to illustrate different concepts in class. This also allows me the opportunity to test new labs prior to using them in class. The third video was taken at Yellowstone park during my graduate geology class, I wanted students to experience the sounds of fumaroles.

I have provided a link to both videos; feel free to use them when you need them.
