Teaching Conference/Notre Dame

I would first like to thank the Notre Dame Club of Eastern North Carolina, for selecting me to attend this conference. Today was the tour of the Notre Dame Campus and it was amazing. No words can describe the architectural features and tradition that surrounds the campus.  Our first stop was the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, a place for prayer and reflection. We visited the Basilica of Sacred Heart, a special place to worship. The Main building with the statue of the Blessed Mother atop the Golden Dome was our next stop.

After the tour we were treated to a reception. This event gave the conference attendees chance to meet other teachers from across the country and share our experiences. Tomorrow, we will listen to speakers, Susan K. Tolley and Dr. Adolph Brown III.
